The food sector has a strong impact on the environment: it is the sector with the<strong> highest demand of water<\/strong>. A great part of the production is often lost and which is transformed into <strong>wastes<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">While the population is growing, the spending power of numerous citizens is reduced by the economic and social crisis, and in a context of <strong>climatic emergency<\/strong> implying a successful ecological transition and a smart, sustainable and inclusive growth,<strong> Sustainable Food System<\/strong> wants to participate and support the <strong>transition<\/strong> as creating new jobs.<\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">Supported by the European Commission as part of the Programme for education, training, youth and sport \u2013 ERASMUS +, this project is coordinated by the European think &amp; do tank PLS with 6 others partners from Belgium, Italy and Spain.&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":1,"featured_media":2222,"template":"","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_crsspst_to_hw54cbnnavpreviewinfomaniakwebsite":false,"_crsspst_to_hw54cbnnbbpreviewinfomaniakwebsite":false,"_crsspst_to_hw54cbnnbdpreviewinfomaniakwebsite":false},"categories":[],"internal_contacts":[],"countries":[],"thematics":[763,767,762,769,761],"class_list":["post-2221","news","type-news","status-publish","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","thematics-alternative-economy","thematics-environnement-en","thematics-food","thematics-health","thematics-sustainable-development"],"acf":{"content_resume":"<p style=\"text-align: justify;\">In order to promote an ecological transition, which creates jobs, POUR LA SOLIDARIT\u00c9-PLS will lead the project Sustainable Food System, starting from November 2017.
