Ageing more serenely at home thanks to a good communication
The ageing of the population accross Europe increases the number of older persons in a position of dependence. Most of them want to stay home as long as possible. This phenomenon requires more information sharing on a regular basis between the older persons and their professional or informal caregivers (families, carers, nurses, etc).
From 2013 to 2016, the European project ACCESS has developed an innovative technological app based on data sharing between the structures involved. This app supports caregivers, especially in the management of daily life activities at home.
This event will provide an opportunity for participants to become familiar with the ACCESS app made available to professional organisations of caregivers, to organisations of older persons and to superior public health system organisations.
At the conference, a panel of European speakers will take part in the debate aimed at promoting tools making life easier for seniors and their caregivers.
