On Wednesday 30 November 2022, from 10am to 12.30pm, POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ-PLS and its partners in the European ACTIV project are organising a conference dedicated to the (re)employment of women facing domestic violence. Socio-professional integration actors, associations and companies involved will be present to develop, most certainly, new synergies!

Access to and retention in employment are essential for the emancipation of women facing domestic violence, which, let's not forget, affects 1 in 5 women in Europe*. Financial autonomy, as well as support from a company that is aware of and trained in the problems of victims, are key elements that allow individuals to maximise their chances of breaking the cycle of violence.

Aware of the positive role that employment can play in the (re)integration of women who are, or have been, victims of domestic violence, the #ACTIV partners have considered how to strengthen the synergies between the worlds of business, associations and socio-professional integration in order to meet the direct needs expressed by these women.

The final conference of the project will aim to present the results of their two years of work and demonstrate that collaboration between the different actors of integration, associations and companies is possible and essential. How can this be done? See you on 30 November to find out!

On the agenda: state of play, presentation of tools, exchange of good practices, testimonies, meetings and networking.
