On May 27, civil society organizations from five European Union member states will gather for the closing seminar of the “Citizenship, Interculturality and Dialogue” project co-financed by the “Europe for Citizens” unit of the European Commission’s DG Education and Culture.
As part of this project, Community Service Volunteers, an English federation promoting voluntary work, the Foundation of the P&V insurance company, a pioneer of the social economy in Belgium, the Spanish Foundation EAES, a training school for social entrepreneurship, the Foundation of the French mutual insurance company MACIF and the Romanian Foundation PACT, experts in participative territorial development, are conducting a life-size intercultural experiment on the very theme of intercultural dialogue. Groups of citizens, representing the diversity of the national population, exchange ideas and reflect together on the different facets of the concept of intercultural dialogue.
On the agenda for May 27 will be the presentation of national reports and recommendations drawn from the various debates held over the past year.
