The European project CHANGE OF VIEW aims to renew the methods of supporting vulnerable groups, particularly in the remobilisation phase, the first stage of any training programme. The project aims at two target groups: adult learners and educators or staff accompanying these groups.

EUnited We Code: What about the Hackathon?

At the beginning of June, Mariya Gabriel, European Commissioner in Digital Economy and Society department, stressed the importance of ensuring that everybody has “equal opportunities in the digitalisation of our economy and our society” in a speech given at the opening of the Digital Assembly 2019. Also, she identified three action levers to achieve this equality of opportunities: the development of digital infrastructures, the dissemination of digital skills and the strengthening of the ability of all to be informed.

Improve the skills of home helpers for older people

On 22 October 2019, POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ – PLS organises a conference in Brussels on the development of professional skills for home helpers, and on improving the quality of care for the elderly person at home. This event is part of the atHOME European project which aims to improve the maintenance of older and dependent people at home.

The EUnited We Code project partnership will be in Brussels at the end of June 2019 for a full week dedicated to inclusive digital. A hackathon, a creative, participatory and collaborative process dedicated to digital innovation will be held!

Digital skills and social inclusion: EUnited We Code

Eunited We Code is a European project co-funded by the Erasmus+ program aiming to foster the innovative pedagogy developed by the social enterprise Simplon.co. This methodology facilitates the integration of vulnerable populations in the tech sector through digital skills learning. The partnership includes five organisations and will build a European network of social coding schools.

I SAID: self-determination and intellectual disabilities

As part of the promotion of the health of people with intellectual disabilities (ID), the I SAID project will be carried out for four years (Oct. 2016 – Oct. 2020). It aims to foster the self-determination of people with intellectual disabilities and to improve their support. The project is a cross-border collaboration between Hauts-de-France and Wallonia regions.

EuroVIP “European Volunteer Inclusion Program” is a European project led by a consortium of 5 partners from different Member States. The project aims to promote the professional integration and employability of young people aged 17-30 through the recognition of their skills developed during volunteering experiences.
