A toolbox built by and for third places
Funded by the European Union’s Erasmus+ programme, AGORA 2030 does not seek to impose top-down approaches. On the contrary, its ambition is to identify, capitalise on and disseminate practices that genuinely work in the field. Whether they are community gardens, fab labs, repair and reuse centres, or socially engaged co-working spaces, each local initiative holds part of the solution.
To ensure that the resources developed are relevant and useful, the project relies on a crucial starting point: your experience.
Why take part in this questionnaire?
We invite all managers, facilitators and members of third places to share their perspectives through a dedicated questionnaire (10–15 minutes). Your responses will help to:
- Map the realities on the ground: Who are you? Which groups do you engage with?
- Identify barriers and enabling factors: What challenges do you face in your ecological initiatives? Which tools and approaches have already proven effective?
Co-create the solution: the data collected will serve as the basis for developing a European toolbox. This future set of resources, including methods, practical factsheets and case studies, will be directly tailored to the needs you express.
As the project coordinators explain: “The aim is to ensure that this toolbox is based on real-life experiences and responds to concrete needs on the ground.”
Contribute to a European movement
Beyond the diagnosis, this consultation aims to build connections. By taking part, you will be able to:
- recommend existing resources that inspire you;
- offer to share your own tools with the European network;
- stay informed about the next steps, including the training sessions and networking events planned as part of AGORA 2030.
The ecological transition cannot be imposed; it is built collectively, through local initiatives emerging across Europe. Every contribution, even a brief one, is a vital component of this collective effort.
