Sustainable development and transition

Sustainable development is a balanced approach to human development that combines economic efficiency, environmental protection and social equity. The overall aim is to meet the needs of the present without compromising the future of generations to come.

Through this principle, and by focusing in particular on the concepts of sustainable housing and green jobs, POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ – PLS intends to demonstrate the importance of committing society to an ecological and social transition.

Given the ecological emergency and human distress we face, PLS is convinced that putting the precepts of sustainable development into concrete action will help build a more balanced and inclusive society.
