#CEASE_violence : When employers take action against domestic violence

24% of women over the age of 15 have already been victims of domestic violence, and this figure rises to around 30% if we include psychological violence, and it is precisely to combat this violence that the CEASE network was created in 2017: a network of employers who are committed to observing common and ambitious practices to combat domestic violence in the workplace.

The JOIN THE GAME project aims to develop an urban game to encourage girls and young women to take on stereotypically masculine professions. The project is co-funded by the Erasmus+ programme of the European Union.

Belgium adopts a national action plan to combat gender-based violence

The National Action Plan against Gender Violence (NAP) 2021-2025 was adopted by all Belgian governments on Friday 26 November 2021. Developed in consultation with civil society actors, it provides for more than 200 measures distributed among 17 ministries and 23 administrations. It aims to enable Belgium to honour the Istanbul Convention and “achieve real equality between men and women”.
