PLS joins the new European Alliance for a Just Transition

Twenty-five European civil society organisations – including networks and movements working on social, environmental, climate and political issues – have come together under the banner of the European Alliance for a Just Transition, calling for immediate, unequivocal and transformative action at all levels of society to build a secure and sustainable future for all. POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ-PLS joins the movement and highlights the role played by Social and Solidarity Economy (SSE) actors for an inclusive transition.

The annual report is online!

Eighteen years after its creation, POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ-PLS is renewing itself, challenging the analyses and multiplying its actions in the field to defend a Europe of solidarity and sustainability. Its motto has become: Understand, Connect and Support to Act! Discover all the actions accomplished by the think & do tank throughout 2020, the year of all solidarities!

CirculAbility: Inclusion of people with disabilities and reduction of food waste

Coordinated by APF-France Handicap, the Erasmus+ CirculAbility project, of which POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ-PLS is a partner, aims to promote the professional inclusion of people with disabilities and to fight against food waste by creating a training course on the valorization of unsold food for specialized work structures.

Circular HRM: Aligning circular economy with human resources management

The Circular HRM project – Improving circular skills and jobs through training in human resources management, aims to develop training modules so that the management of companies’ human resources integrates the principles of the circular economy into its approach. POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ-PLS is the leader of this innovative project, co-financed by the Erasmus+ programme and supported by a partnership of 7 European organisations.

Sustainable skills and food : a winning training !

Since October 2018, POUR LA SOLIDARITE-PLS and the Erasmus+ european project partners of Training 4 Sustainable Food Systems Development – T4F work together to create a formation which aims to develop and/or reinforce the sustainable competencies with (future) workers of the food industry sectors. The training manual, first out of three tools that will be completed in the next weeks, is now available !

The initial aim is, then, to build a Union equipped with institutions and common values, with the objective of economic and social prosperity for all its members and partners. In the course of its evolution, in particular through the signature of treaties and the adhesion of new States, the European Community has met political, economic, social and cultural changes.

Sustainable trainings for green skills: a new project for PLS

In order to promote an ecological transition, which creates jobs, POUR LA SOLIDARITÉ-PLS will lead the project Sustainable Food System, starting from November 2017. It aims to develop professional trainings based on the development of green skills in the food sector.
