Sustainable skills and food : a winning training !

Since October 2018, POUR LA SOLIDARITE-PLS and the Erasmus+ european project partners of Training 4 Sustainable Food Systems Development – T4F work together to create a formation which aims to develop and/or reinforce the sustainable competencies with (future) workers of the food industry sectors. The training manual, first out of three tools that will be completed in the next weeks, is now available !

The initial aim is, then, to build a Union equipped with institutions and common values, with the objective of economic and social prosperity for all its members and partners. In the course of its evolution, in particular through the signature of treaties and the adhesion of new States, the European Community has met political, economic, social and cultural changes.

Used cooking oils for biofuel production – Project BIOHEC-LIFE

The European project « BIOHEC-LIFE – Advanced Biodiesel in circular economy for low carbon public transports » aims at exploiting used cooking oils (UCO) for the production of environmentally-friendly biofuel while promoting the social economy sector.

Personal household services: impact measure of public policies

The European project IMPact* will hold its final conference on 13 April 2016 in Brussels. It will address the issues met by public authorities in Europe to improve assessment and monitoring of employment and budgetary effects of States’ support to the formal provision of Personal and Household Services (PHS) and offer tools to address them.

FESSUD addressing the policy debate on Capital Markets Union in Brussels

On 9 December 2015, PLS organised a policy-oriented workshop on Capital Markets Union (CMU) at the European Parliament. The discussions were based notably on four years of research on the stakes and processes of financialisation in the frame of the FESSUD project. The debates have led to the conclusion that the revival of securitisation and more generally the CMU would not play the salutary role that some foresee in terms of growth, employment and boosting of SMEs and start-ups…
